Hello! My name is Molly, and I’m a single, 24 year-old living in Boston. I started this blog because I love writing, but apparently couldn’t motivate myself to do it after college unless I published it on the internet for people to read. I don’t even know what to say here. I love talking about myself so much that this section could be 400 pages long. And I don’t want this to read like a dating profile, so, dilemmas…

Ok. This blog. Basically, it’s supposed to inspire people. Yes, that means you! A post-college life can be scary, depressing, and confusing. Trust me, I went through it. Boy, did I go through it. I was a mess! I didn’t know how to apply for jobs, or how to look for an apartment. I didn’t even own a suit. I didn’t know which bars to go to. I didn’t know who Childish Gambino was. I didn’t know how to pronounce the word “quinoa.”  But somewhere along the way, I picked myself up, slapped myself across the face (not literally, of course) and got my life together. I got a job, an apartment, a couple of amazing roommates, and not only learned how to pronounce the word “quinoa,” but learned how to cook it as well. I built a life from nothing, and never have I felt stronger or more proud of myself.

I have also endured more struggles this past year and a half than I have in my entire life. But when I was sad and bored at work because I had a temp or receptionist job that required very little work, I would read blogs, and from them I gained hope. The bloggers showed me what life could be like after college, and it looked, well, fulfilling, which is EXACTLY what I want my life to be. When I look back on my life years from now, I want to regret as little as possible, and that means living my life to the fullest. I’ve had my dose of inspiration in that area, and now I want to give back to those who need their own. And, of course, if you’re bored at your first job because, well, it’s your first job, I hope this at least provides some entertainment.
